Worked examples
Four fully worked calibration examples you can replicate through the UI to cross-check Open Gauge's calculation engine.
Four fully worked calibration examples, each exercising a different part of Open Gauge's calibration engine. Every number in them was produced by running the real production code against the input data shown, then independently re-derived by hand from the underlying formulas to confirm they match. If you enter the same asset/channel setup and the same data points through the UI, you should see the same numbers — see Rounding for the display precision rules.

Example 1 — Temperature RTD, linear fit
Linear regression, a full four-row uncertainty budget, the reference-standard auto-fetch, and all three decision rules diverging on the same data.
Example 2 — Pressure transducer, quadratic fit
Automatic polynomial-degree selection via AIC, non-linearity detection, and the t-distribution coverage-factor path.
Example 3 — Load cell, hysteresis + repeatability
The up/down sweep hysteresis detector and the triplicate-point repeatability detector.
Example 4 — Coefficients-only external certificate
Recording a lab certificate that states the calibration polynomial directly, with no raw data.
